The Proposal
Showing uncharacteristic romantic flair and strategic brilliance, John planned a secret trip for Stephanie to join him in Italy, where John was managing a project. We spent a week touring Italy with time spent in Milan, Rome and Venice. John seized the moment in Venice and proposed with a glass ring (local specialty) on a beautiful fall evening, while overlooking the Grand Canal. Stephanie giggled hysterically and then ultimately accepted before John tossed her into the Canal.

Stephanie and John first met on August 1, 2003 after weeks of online banter. Yes, it’s the 21 st century and we met on the Internet. We were immediately drawn to one another’s quirky characteristics and have grown closer with goofy blissful delight ever since.
